Paralegal - Exeter, Devon

Our client is looking for experienced and motivated Private Client Paralegals to join their growing team across multiple offices in Exeter and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for organised and detail-oriented individuals with a strong interest in Private Client law to support a busy department working on matters such as estate planning, probate, and trust administration.

You will ideally have previous experience working in a legal environment, particularly within Private Client services, though those with relevant paralegal qualifications or experience in similar areas of law will also be considered.

Main Duties:

  • Assisting with the preparation and drafting of legal documents relating to Wills, LPAs, probate, and trusts

  • Managing and maintaining accurate and up-to-date client files

  • Supporting fee earners with estate administration and court applications

  • Liaising with clients in person, by phone, and in writing

  • Conducting legal research and compiling supporting documentation

  • Diary and task management for lawyers in the team

  • Ensuring compliance with internal procedures and client confidentiality

  • General administrative tasks as required

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Experience working as a Paralegal in a Private Client team is preferred

  • Legal qualifications (e.g. LLB, LPC, or Paralegal Diploma) are desirable

  • Strong administrative skills and understanding of legal procedures

  • Competent with Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel)

  • Experience with case management systems is advantageous

Working Hours: Full time, Monday – Friday
Location: Multiple offices across Exeter and the surrounding areas
Remuneration: Depending on experience
