Recycling Operative (ADHOC) - Temp to Perm Opportunity

Are you someone who enjoys working outdoors? If yes, then this role is perfect for you. Our client is seeking an enthusiastic individual to assist in the collection of household waste and recyclable goods.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct kerbside collections, accompanying a crew on designated routes to collect recycling boxes and household waste.

• Maintain strict adherence to health and safety guidelines, particularly in Manual Handling practices.

• Provide assistance to team members as needed.

• Represent the local council in a professional manner at all times.

Requirements:

• No prior experience necessary, but attendance at an induction is required.

• Display a strong interest and willingness to work.

• Open to receiving instructions and guidance.

• Able to adapt and support team members, working both independently and collaboratively.

• Flexible regarding working hours and days.

• Possession of a driving licence is advantageous due to location and early start times.

Additional Information:

• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, starting at 5:45 AM until completion of waste/recycling duties.

• Location: Willand

• Probation: All candidates must attend an induction and registration, providing proof of ID, National Insurance, address, and right to work.
