Our client is seeking an Ad Hoc Catering Assistant to provide cover within the school’s kitchen team when required. This flexible role is ideal for someone who can step in at short notice and support the preparation and service of fresh, nutritious meals while upholding excellent standards of hygiene and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and serving of meals.

  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and dining areas.

  • Adhere to food hygiene and health & safety regulations.

  • Support the catering team to ensure smooth meal service.

Requirements:

  • A valid, transferable DBS certificate (essential).

  • Previous catering or kitchen experience (desirable).

  • Ability to work well within a team and follow instructions.

  • Friendly and professional manner when interacting with children and staff.
