Poultry Operatives

  • Contract: Permanent (12-week Probation).

  • Pay Rate: Up to £31,366.40 Per Year

  • Location: Crediton, Devon

We are seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our client’s team as Poultry Operatives. This hands-on role involves working within a busy poultry processing environment, where you’ll play an important part in food production and quality control. Experience in food production, meat processing, or factory/packing work is an advantage but not required. Full on-the-job training will be provided

Duties

  • Plucking feathers and removing wax.

  • Grading, packing, bagging, and weighing poultry products.

  • Labelling and preparing items for distribution.

  • Maintaining hygiene and cleanliness within the work area.

  • Assisting with the care and welfare of livestock.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food production, meat processing, or packing is desirable but not essential. Full on-the-job training will be provided.

  • Own Transport is Required

  • Reliable, punctual, and committed to good timekeeping.

  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn.

  • Honest, hardworking, and physically capable of manual tasks.

  • Able to work effectively as part of a team.

Additional Details

  • Contract: Permanent (12-week Probation).

  • Working Hours: Monday–Wednesday: 06:00–17:00 / Thursday–Friday: 06:00–Finish times may vary

  • Pay Rate: Up to £31,366.40 Per Year

  • Location: Crediton, Devon

  • PPE & Training: PPE and full Health & Safety induction provided.
