Hours: Thursday – Monday, Midday – 8:00pm (TBC)
Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for a Seasonal 3.5T Driver based at Torr Quarry to support the Twilight Round collections. The role involves driving a 3.5 tonne vehicle and collecting litter bins across designated routes, helping to maintain clean and safe public spaces during the busy seasonal period.
There is potential for these rounds to transfer to the Street Scene department later in 2026.
Key Responsibilities
Driving a 3.5 tonne vehicle safely and responsibly
Collecting and emptying litter bins on scheduled routes
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
Ensuring waste is disposed of correctly and efficiently
Working in line with health & safety procedures
Working outdoors in all weather conditions
Providing a reliable and professional service
Requirements
Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
Previous driving experience preferred
Good awareness of health & safety practices
Physically fit due to the nature of the role
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
