About the Role

We are looking for a reliable and detail-focused Embroidery & Heat Seal Operator to join our client's production team in Cullompton.

This is a hands-on production role working with embroidery and heat press equipment to produce high-quality branded garments, uniforms and workwear. You will be responsible for ensuring designs, logos and transfers are applied accurately and consistently while meeting production deadlines and quality standards.

Previous experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate and monitor embroidery machinery, including thread changes, hooping and loading digitised designs.

  • Set up and operate heat seal/heat press equipment to apply transfers, badges and logos.

  • Correctly position garments to ensure accurate placement of designs and branding.

  • Carry out in-process and final quality checks.

  • Identify and report any defects or quality issues.

  • Work to daily production and turnaround targets while maintaining high standards.

  • Carry out routine cleaning and basic maintenance of machinery.

  • Identify and report equipment faults promptly.

  • Keep accurate records of completed jobs, materials used and any rework required.

  • Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.

  • Work flexibly across embroidery and heat seal/heat press duties depending on workload.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Ideally experienced in embroidery, heat seal or heat press operations, although this is not essential.

  • Highly detail-oriented with a strong eye for accuracy.

  • Able to work efficiently in a busy production environment.

  • Comfortable following written instructions, job specifications and design placement guides.

  • Reliable, punctual and committed to producing quality work.

  • A positive team player who can also work independently.

  • Comfortable with basic measurements and positioning of designs.

  • Keen to learn new skills and develop within a production environment.
