When you're working or participating in outdoor activities, emergency medical support may be several hours away. Having the skills and confidence to provide effective first aid in challenging environments can be vital.
The Level 3 Award in Outdoor First Aid (RQF) provides learners with a broad range of practical skills needed to administer first aid in outdoor environments where conditions may be unpredictable and access to emergency services may be limited.
This course has been specifically designed for individuals involved in higher-risk outdoor activities, including Outdoor Activity Leaders, instructors, guides and those participating in activities such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award scheme.
During this comprehensive 2-day course, learners will develop the knowledge and practical skills required to assess situations, manage casualties and provide effective treatment in a range of outdoor first aid scenarios.
