The Level 2 Award in First Aid Essentials (RQF) is a regulated and nationally recognised qualification designed for individuals who have a specific interest or responsibility to provide basic first aid support in the workplace, voluntary groups or community settings.
This practical course provides learners with the essential knowledge and skills needed to respond confidently to a range of common first aid situations. Candidates will learn how to assess incidents, provide immediate care and support casualties until further medical assistance is available.
Successful learners will gain the confidence and practical skills required to deal with emergency situations, including CPR, choking, external bleeding, shock and minor injuries.
