Our client is a growing FMCG manufacturing company, known for delivering high-quality products, consistency, and exceptional service. To support our client's continued expansion, we are looking for a Sales & Commercial Executive to join their team.

This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in driving new business growth, strengthening client relationships, and shaping our commercial strategy.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and secure new business opportunities through research, prospecting, and outreach.

  • Manage a pipeline of qualified leads across target sectors.

  • Prepare and deliver tailored proposals to prospective clients.

  • Represent the company at client meetings, trade shows, and industry events.

  • Consistently meet and exceed sales, revenue, and margin targets.

  • Manage and grow existing customer accounts, focusing on retention and satisfaction.

  • Maintain accurate sales and account information using CRM systems.

  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends to support business strategy.

  • Work closely with marketing to support digital campaigns and brand visibility.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth client onboarding and delivery.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in sales, account management, or commercial roles (B2B/FMCG preferred).

  • Strong communication and presentation skills.

  • Highly organised, with excellent time management.

  • Confident with CRM systems and digital tools such as LinkedIn.

  • Proactive, results-driven, and commercially minded.

  • Full UK driving licence with flexibility to travel (approx. 50% field-based).

  • Background in FMCG, wholesale, or retail sectors.

  • Experience with pricing strategies, margin management, and reporting.

  • Previous experience working within an SME environment.

  • Knowledge of digital marketing or content creation.
