Agricultural Engineer / Tractor Mechanic

£30,000 to £40,000 per year (DOE) + Overtime

Full-time, Permanent

We’re looking for and experienced Agricultural Engineer / Tractor Mechanic to join a well-established team in the Tiverton area.

This is a varied, hands-on tole working with a wide range of modern and traditional farm machinery. You’ll split your time between workshop repairs, servicing and mobile callouts to local farms and customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Service, repair and maintain tractors and agricultural machinery

  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults

  • Prepare new and used machinery for delivery

  • Carry out on-farm breakdowns and maintenance visits

  • Ensure all work is completed safely and to a high standard

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience as an Agricultural Engineer, Plant Fitter, or HGV/Mechanical Technician

  • Strong fault finding and repair skills

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team

  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

  • Full UK Driving License (Essential)

  • Relevant mechanical or agricultural engineering qualification (advantageous)
