Location: Exeter & surrounding areas
Pay Rate: £16.08 per hour
Job Type: Full-time, Temporary Ongoing Assignment
Hours: Guaranteed 37 hours per week
We are currently recruiting for two LGV C Driver / Loader positions to join a busy Waste Operations team.
This role would suit reliable and enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working outdoors, are physically fit, and work well as part of a team. The position combines both driving and loading duties within waste collection operations.
As a spare driver, there will also be occasions where full-day loading duties are required when driving shifts are unavailable. The hourly pay rate will remain the same regardless of duties undertaken.
Duties Include:
Driving LGV Class C waste collection vehicles
Assisting with loading and collection duties
Working as part of a waste operations team
Carrying out vehicle checks and ensuring safe operation
Supporting daily collection routes across the area
Requirements:
Valid Class C (Category C) Licence
Valid CPC Qualification
Digital Tachograph Card
Good attitude and strong reliability
Ability to undertake physically demanding outdoor work
Previous waste industry experience would be advantageous, although full training will be provided.
