  • £22.50 per hour + attendance bonus

  • Part-time | Saturdays (May–October peak season)

  • Includes driving a 3.5T catering van

We’re working with a highly regarded South West catering company known for creating memorable, relaxed dining experiences at weddings and private events. Inspired by Spanish-style hospitality and over a decade of UK events, their approach is all about theatre, flavour, and connection with guests.

They’re now looking for a confident, personable Event Chef to join their team for Saturday events during peak season. (May–October)

If you enjoy live cooking, interacting with guests, and being part of a buzzing event atmosphere, this is a fantastic opportunity to step away from a traditional kitchen setting.

What you’ll be doing

  • Cooking and serving fresh, one-pot and main dishes live in front of guests

  • Bringing energy and personality to service — this is as much about experience as it is food

  • Engaging with guests in a friendly, professional way

  • Supporting smooth, high-quality service at weddings and events

  • Assisting with set-up and pack-down

  • Loading, driving, and unloading the catering van from Exeter

  • Working closely with a small, supportive team to deliver standout events

What we’re looking for

  • Chef experience or a strong catering background

  • Confidence cooking in a customer-facing / live environment

  • A positive, reliable, team-focused attitude

  • Someone who thrives in a fast-paced, event-style setting

  • Full UK driving licence

  • Comfortable driving a 3.5T van

  • Available for most Saturdays during peak season
