Learn How to Respond in a Major Incident Emergency
Would you know how to react in the event of a serious incident such as a stabbing, shooting or bomb attack?
The Level 2 Award in citizenAID (RQF) has been specifically developed to help members of the public learn potentially lifesaving skills for use in extreme emergency situations.
Based on the citizenAID phone app and pocket guide, this regulated qualification teaches learners how to respond safely, prioritise casualties and provide immediate first aid following a deliberate multiple casualty incident.
During this 3-hour practical course, candidates will learn how to assess dangerous situations, support casualties, manage catastrophic bleeding and provide vital first aid until emergency services arrive.
Successful learners will gain the confidence and knowledge needed to take appropriate action and potentially save lives in the aftermath of a major incident.
