Shape and Fabricate Heavy Goods Vehicles

We are seeking a skilled HGV Fabricator to join a growing workshop in Willand. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on fabrication work on heavy vehicles and takes pride in producing high-quality, durable engineering solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Fabricating steel and aluminium components for HGVs and commercial vehicles

• Carrying out MIG/TIG welding to a high standard

• Modifying and repairing chassis, frames, and structural components

• Working from engineering drawings and fabrication plans

• Supporting full vehicle builds and custom modifications

• Maintaining high safety and quality standards throughout all work

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in fabrication within HGV, plant, or commercial vehicle environments

• Strong welding skills (MIG/TIG essential)

• Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately

• Strong mechanical understanding and attention to detail

• Relevant fabrication/welding qualifications desirable
