Location: Willand, Devon
Salary: £35,000 per year

About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled coachbuilder and welder to join our client who has a busy, well-equipped workshop in Willand. If you take pride in building and repairing commercial vehicles to a high standard, this is the role for you.

You will be working on a variety of commercial vehicles, including vans and bespoke chassis, fabricating, welding, and assembling structural and bodywork components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, weld (MIG/TIG) and assemble steel and aluminium vehicle bodywork

• Build, repair, and modify chassis, frames, panels, and fittings

• Read and work from technical drawings with precision

• Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and finish

• Collaborate with a skilled workshop team on complex projects

Skills & Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a coachbuilder, fabricator, or vehicle welder

• Skilled in MIG/TIG welding, metal fabrication, and panel work

• Experience working on commercial vehicles or bespoke builds

• Able to read technical drawings and work independently

• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship

• Relevant qualifications in welding, fabrication, or coachbuilding
